Associate Chiropractor — First Steps Chiropractic | Hayden, ID
Who We Are
First Steps Chiropractic is a neurologically-based, family and pediatric chiropractic practice in Hayden, Idaho — the heart of the Coeur d'Alene area. We've been serving families in North Idaho for over 7 years, with a focus on prenatal and pediatric care, SoftWave therapy, INSiGHT neuroTHERMAL scanning, and family wellness.
We are a close-knit team that genuinely cares about each other, our patients, and the families we serve. If you're looking for a place where you belong — not just a job — keep reading.
The Opportunity
We're growing and looking for an associate doctor to join our team. We want someone who is in it for the long haul — someone who wants to build meaningful relationships with patients and families, grow alongside a supportive team, and put down real roots in a community they love. You’ll be mentored directly by Dr. Henry Kornegay, a PX Pro certified chiropractor with 7 years of experience building First Steps from the ground up.
Whether you're a new graduate looking for a nurturing environment to develop your skills, or an experienced chiropractor ready to step into an established, stable practice with a full patient base — we'd love to meet you.
What We Offer
- $80,000-$95,000 base salary (based on experience) — stable, predictable, no production pressure.
- Paid malpractice insurance.
- Webster certification ICPA membership — paid by the practice.
- PX training, certification and mentorship from a certified PX Pro doctor.
- CE stipend (up to $2,000/year).
- Health insurance.
- 2 weeks PTO.
- Idaho licensing fees covered.
- Monday–Thursday schedule — consistent hours, no weekends.
What You'll Do
- Adjust patients across the full family spectrum — prenatal, pediatric, and adult.
- Build deep, long-term relationships with families in the community.
- Deliver neurologically-focused care through diversified, drop table and gentle/low-force techniques.
- Participate in patient education and team huddles.
- Work within a supportive, systems-driven team so you can focus entirely on patient care.
Who You Are
- A Doctor of Chiropractic licensed (or soon to be licensed) in Idaho.
- Someone who genuinely loves people and builds trust naturally with kids, parents, and families.
- Caring, patient, and relationship-driven — someone who remembers patients' names and their stories.
- Aligned with a salutogenic, neurologically-focused philosophy.
- Webster certified or excited to learn.
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative, stable environment — not a lone wolf, but a true team player.
- Humble, consistent, and in it for the right reasons.
What Our Team Culture Feels Like
We lead with our core values — Ownership, Communication, Fun, Service, Education, and Empowerment. We celebrate wins together, support each other through challenges, and take pride in building something meaningful as a team. You won't feel like employee number five. You'll feel like family.
