What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Trainer/ BIPP Coordinator position at First Step, Inc.?
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide awareness and prevention training for community social service organizations and providers such as law enforcement, area social workers, healthcare providers, human resource professionals, business leaders and schools. This position promotes First Step, Inc by educating and providing informational materials at events in our served communities. This position requires the ability to create, develop, update and present using available technology at various locations. Strict confidentiality of information must be observed as it relates to client information, business practices and employee information.
Additionally, this position will develop the BIPP program processes and procedures in accordance with accreditation standards. This position is responsible for all attendee intakes, tracking attendance, and weekly payments, reporting to referral entities and victims, inputting and reporting all data records, and communicating with state and peer agencies.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience OR a combination of both; an understanding of domestic violence and sexual assault; communication skills; meeting facilitation skills; competent decision-making. Offered pay will be commensurate with an applicant's qualifications. Range is $14.42 to $16.50/hour.
