Position Overview
This is a true Outside Sales role. We are seeking a strategic, self-motivated Regional Sales Manager with a proven ability to develop new business and drive revenue growth. This role is ideal for an outside sales professional who thrives on relationship-building, creating opportunities through active field engagement, and consistently exceeding goals through persistence and discipline.
The successful candidate will be a true business hunter—proactive, resourceful, and driven to uncover new opportunities—while maintaining a strong commitment to process excellence and CRM accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to generate new business across key industries, including distribution, manufacturing, logistics, and food production
- Identify, pursue, and close new client partnerships aligned with company objectives
- Maintain and expand existing client relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service
- Accurately document all sales activity, opportunities, and next steps in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and transparency
- Collaborate closely with internal operations and leadership to support seamless client onboarding and ongoing account management
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales metrics and revenue targets
- Represent First Step Staffing’s mission and values with professionalism, integrity, and excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably within staffing, logistics, or service-oriented industries
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and achieve measurable sales growth
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- High level of self-discipline and organization, including consistent CRM management and follow-up
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or a comparable CRM platform)
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results
