What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher position at First Step Preschool Inc.?
As a toddler teacher, you will be required to prepare and deliver developmentally appropriate classroom activities. You will be required to communicate with parents daily regarding their child's progress in the classroom as well as through quarterly parent teacher conferences. The toddler teacher will work as part of a team in their classroom as well as part of our team in the center as a whole. You will ensure that the learning environment remains safe at all times.
This candidate should have knowledge in lesson planning for toddlers as well as how to set up a stimulating classroom for your children. This candidate should have knowledge in assessing children and documenting their progress. This candidate should have knowledge in using an ipad to communicate with parents and staff through an app.
To be successful as a toddler teacher, you should be creative, energetic, and able to encourage self-expression. You should have a passion for Early Childhood Education and have excellent problem- solving skills. Flexibility, and thinking on your feet are key skills also needed for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.75 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
