What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Worker position at First Step First Love?
Direct care workers provide supervision, guidance and direction to behaviorally challenged youth in an adolescent residential setting. It is the primary responsibility of the youth care worker to provide a physically and emotionally safe and secure environment. They must demonstrate competent skills that support the formation of trusting, supportive relationships with the youth under their supervision. This position also participates in the development of implementation of individualized program plans and unit programs, as well as providing guidance as the youth learn social and life skills.
You must be over the age of 21, and be able to pass a background check.
2nd shift available:
Sunday- 2pm-10pm
Monday- Off
Tuesday- Off
Wednesday- 2pm-10pm
Thursday- 2pm-10pm
Friday- 2pm-10pm
Saturday- 2pm-10pm
3rd shift:
Sunday- Thursday- 10pm-8am
Part-time shifts available:
Sunday- 2pm- 10pm
Monday- Off
Tuesday- Off
Wednesday- Off
Thursday- 2pm-10pm
Friday- Off
Saturday- 2pm-10pm
