Duties
- Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement curriculum plans that support developmental milestones and learning goals
- Lead, supervise, and mentor teaching staff to ensure high standards of classroom management, safety, and educational quality
- Oversee daily program operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and organizational policies
- Manage budgeting processes, allocate resources effectively, and monitor financial health of the program
- Represent the organization at community events and meetings
- Help to supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives
Qualifications
- 3 years proven experience in running an early childhood program
- Strong background in curriculum development and classroom teaching experience with young children
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising and managing staff performance
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking, team collaboration, and community outreach
- Working familiarity with licensing requirements for childcare programs and safety standards
