What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder Assistant position at First State Tire Disposal, Inc.?
First State Tire is looking for an experienced Welder to add to our team
We are looking for someone that knows how to wire feed & stick weld, but we also do Mig and Tig welding at times. You would be, for the most part, working in the Diesel Mechanics Department, welding steel and aluminum. You would also be helping the Diesel Mechanics do some of the below if you have the knowledge and ability to:
Sometimes the settings involve exposure to outside weather conditions.
We would prefer that you have 2 or more years of welding experience.Pay depending on qualifications and depending on your skills (this can be discussed during the interview).

Diesel Mechanics Position:
- Assisting drivers in case of an emergency on the road or sudden breakdown.
- Test driving repaired vehicles.
- Completing routine maintenance.
- Preparing work plans.
- Running diagnostics.
- Inspecting vehicle systems.
- Repairing or replacing vehicle parts.
- Maintaining records for parts inventory, serviced vehicles, inspections, etc...
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
