First State Home Team is a well-established real estate team operating in New Castle County, Delaware. We've been in business for over 8 years with hundreds of closed transactions and a small, tight-knit team that takes its work seriously. We have good systems, a strong pipeline, and we're growing.
About the Role
This is a hands-on operations role that touches almost every part of how we run the business. You'll support the team leader and agents with day-to-day operations, client communication, transaction oversight, marketing coordination, and event planning. It's a busy, varied role and no two days look exactly alike. We have real opportunity for growth here — people who do well in this role get more responsibility and more opportunity over time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Email management and daily communication across team inboxes
- Google Calendar management — scheduling, confirmations, and keeping everything accurate
- Daily appointment confirmations for buyers, sellers, and the team leader
- Transaction oversight — monitoring deadlines, document completion, and file progression
- Management of our international operations team members
- Monthly postcard campaigns and mailing list management
- Quarterly client event planning and execution — venues, vendors, food, and setup
- Marketing coordination — social media graphics, email campaigns, and event pages
- Team meeting support — updating presentations and coordinating logistics
- Office inventory and supply management
- Annual marketing calendar creation and ongoing execution
Who We're Looking For
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive — you don't wait to be told what needs to be done
- A solid communicator in person, by phone, and in writing
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and consistent — someone who follows through
- Positive and easy to work with
- Experience with Google Suite, Canva, or any CRM is a plus but not required — we're happy to train the right person
