Overview

First Space Interiors — Signs & Decor is hiring a motivated Bilingual Outside Sales Representative who speaks Arabic and English.

This is a part-time, field-based position focused on generating new business throughout Metro Detroit. The representative will visit local businesses, introduce our signage and commercial décor services, identify potential projects, schedule site visits, and follow up with customers and estimates.

We are looking for someone who is confident speaking with business owners, professional, organized, dependable, and motivated by sales results.

This position offers hourly pay based on experience, plus commission and performance bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Visit restaurants, markets, retail stores, offices, clinics, and other local businesses.
• Introduce potential customers to our services, including:

- Storefront signs

- LED signs

- Channel letters

- Storefront cladding

- Window graphics

- Printing services

- CNC work

- Commercial interior décor

• Find and contact potential customers through in-person visits, phone calls, text messages, and email.
• Speak directly with business owners, managers, contractors, and other decision-makers.
• Understand customer needs and collect basic project information.
• Schedule site visits, consultations, and measurement appointments.
• Follow up with customers regarding estimates, pending projects, and questions.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors, and referral partners.
• Maintain accurate daily records of visits, calls, leads, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Follow a weekly sales plan and provide regular activity updates.
• Coordinate with company management before providing prices, discounts, or making project commitments.
• Assist with taking basic photos or short videos of completed projects when requested.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Arabic and English.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable visiting businesses and speaking confidently with owners, managers, and decision-makers.
• Professional, organized, dependable, and results-oriented.
• Able to work independently and follow a weekly sales plan.
• Basic ability to use a smartphone, email, Google Maps, and spreadsheets.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Active auto insurance.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Comfortable traveling locally throughout Metro Detroit.
• Previous experience in outside sales, B2B sales, customer service, account management, or business development is preferred.
• Experience in signage, printing, storefront cladding, construction, commercial décor, or related industries is helpful but not required.
• Must receive management approval before providing prices, discounts, or making commitments to customers.

Special Consideration for Industry Experience

Candidates with previous experience in signage, printing, storefront cladding, construction, commercial décor, or related sales industries are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation and additional incentives will be determined based on experience, industry knowledge, existing business relationships, and proven sales ability.

Schedule

Part-time, approximately 25–26 hours per week.

Monday:

10:00 AM–4:00 PM

Tuesday through Thursday:

10:00 AM–5:00 PM

Occasional Friday or Saturday appointments may be required with advance notice.

Compensation

• Hourly pay based on experience

Commission eligibility and payment terms will be explained during the interview and provided in writing before employment begins.

This is an on-the-road position. Applicants must have reliable personal transportation and be comfortable traveling locally to visit potential customers.
