Position Summary
The Part-Time Teller position serves as the bank’s primary face-to-face representative for most customers. The main focus of this position will be assisting customers by processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and fielding various other customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-service teller transaction processing in ordinance with company policy and standards.
- Adhere to bank policies, procedures and regulations, including the customer identification program, Reg CC, and BSA.
- Project excellent customer relations while delivering a positive banking/customer service experience.
- Inform and educate customers on products and services offered by First Southern, which would benefit the customer.
- Maintain product knowledge and expertise on First Southern products and services.
- Field customer service complaints and concerns, seek appropriate assistance, and follow up to ensure a complete and appropriate resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to adapt to changing technology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
