Basic Job Functions:
- The Reliability Engineer IV plays a critical role in ensuring the robustness and long-term performance of new technologies through structured qualification and cross-functional collaboration. Reporting to the Head of Reliability Engineering, this role is responsible for developing and executing qualification plans, analyzing performance data, and driving reliability solutions from concept through implementation. The engineer actively engages in DFMEA processes and partners with Quality, Development Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to embed reliability into product and process design
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) with 10 years experience in reliability engineering or related technical roles, or
- MS Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) with 8 years experience in reliability engineering or related technical role, or
- PhD Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) with 6 years experience in reliability engineering or related technical roles.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in renewable energy, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and reliability modeling tools.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with DFMEA, qualification protocols, and reliability testing standards.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing.
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Develop and execute qualification plans for new technologies and components, ensuring alignment with reliability goals and operational standards.
- Collaborate with Quality, Development Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to integrate reliability requirements into product and process design.
- Analyze qualification and field performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to cross-functional teams and leadership, translating data into actionable insights.
- Drive projects from solution development through implementation, ensuring timely execution and measurable impact.
- Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to proactively identify and mitigate potential reliability risks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying reliability engineering principles and best practices.

- $89,100-$127,000 Annually.
- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift.
- Will climb stairs on an occasional basis.
- Will lift, push or pull up to 37 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
- 20/40 vision in both eyes together, with or without correction, is required.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards, and a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair) for those requiring respirator use.

Salary : $89,100 - $127,000
