Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and modernize legacy mainframe applications.
- Develop and maintain applications using COBOL and mainframe technologies.
- Support migration of mainframe systems to distributed environments.
- Utilize AI-based tools to accelerate code conversion and modernization.
- Work with business teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
- Provide production support and troubleshooting when required.
- 7 years of Mainframe Development experience.
- Strong experience with:
- COBOL
- DB2
- IMS
- VSAM
- CICS
- Exposure to IBM Assembler is a plus.
- Experience with batch and online processing systems.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted migration or modernization tools is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
