First Service FCU is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Consumer Loan Processor to join our team at our corporate office. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of consumer loan applications received in-person, over the phone, and online. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently process consumer loan applications from multiple channels (in-person, phone, and online).
- Handle all aspects of loan operations, including application processing, funding, payoffs, title management, and insurance claim processing.
- Maintain accurate records to support team operations and compliance requirements.
- Provide cross-functional support across various credit union departments, ensuring smooth operations and consistent member service.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when interacting with members, colleagues, and third-party partners.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exhibit problem-solving skills and initiative to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Uphold the credit union’s commitment to excellent member service by providing professional, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred; equivalent work experience in loan operations, consumer lending, or a related financial services role considered
- Strong understanding of lending processes, compliance requirements, and credit union operations.

Pay: $41,600.00 - $45,000.00 per year
