What You’ll Do:

As the Senior Loan Officer & Business Development Officer, you will:

• Develop and grow a portfolio of commercial, consumer, and small business lending relationships.
• Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, community involvement, and strategic prospecting.
• Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand financial needs and recommend appropriate lending and deposit solutions.
• Structure, analyze, underwrite, and present loan requests in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong knowledge of credit quality, loan documentation, and risk management practices.
• Cross-sell treasury management, deposit products, cash management services, and other bank solutions.
• Build relationships with business owners, professional organizations, real estate professionals, and community leaders.
• Maintain a high level of customer service while delivering timely loan decisions and follow-up.
• Monitor portfolio performance and proactively manage risk.
• Participate in business development events, chamber activities, networking opportunities, and community organizations.
• Work collaboratively with branch leadership, loan assistants, credit administration, and operations to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Consistently meet or exceed established production, portfolio growth, and relationship goals.
• Stay current on banking regulations, lending trends, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in lending, loan processing, or financial services preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial, consumer, and small business loan products
• Established network within the local business community.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in loan origination systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Commitment to community banking values and customer-first service
