Self Storage Manager

We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team full time at one of our self storage properties. All you need is a positive attitude and the desire to learn! Successful candidates can come from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments or service-based companies. We look for candidates who has a positive personality with a passion for helping people and real estate operations and has the desire to grow with our company.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day store operations including:

· Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions on the type and size of units and assist customers with new rentals;

· Take customer calls and follow up with customer until questions have been resolved;

· Manage customer accounts and update customer information;

· Help keep customers current with payment and make collection calls when needed;

· Conduct daily and weekly storage unit inspections;

· Check and confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are ready to rent;

· Ensure the facility meets the highest of cleanliness standards by cleaning units, sweeping, mopping;

· Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion;

· Manage and coordinate facility and company projects;

· Be able to use a lock cutter and grinder;

· Other real estate related duties as assigned.

Skills:

Strong communication and customer services skills; be comfortable calling customers and vendors;

Have good work ethics and can work independently (and unsupervised) as well as part of a team;

Proactive and take initiative and strong follow through until tasks are completed;

Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Google email, and Google Drive;

Candidate must:

Have high school diploma is required (associate or college degree is a plus);

Available to work weekdays (9 am – 5 pm) and some weekends, up to 40 hours per week;

Be at least 18 years old;

Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record;

Clean background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
