About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced BSA/Compliance Officer to lead our Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and overall compliance program. In this role, you will ensure our institution meets all state and federal regulatory requirements, oversee training and audits, and act as the primary contact for all compliance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
Lead BSA/AML/OFAC Program
- Develop, implement, and oversee all aspects of the Bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC compliance program.
- Monitor daily transactions for suspicious activity and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
- Manage Customer Identification Program (CIP) and high-risk customer reviews.
- Serve as Chair of the BSA Committee and prepare monthly BSA reports for the Board.
Manage Regulatory Compliance
- Review, update, and enforce compliance policies and procedures across the Bank.
- Stay current on regulatory changes and lead implementation efforts.
- Act as the main liaison during audits and regulatory exams.
- Chair the Compliance Committee and guide risk management strategies.
Training & Communication
- Oversee the Bank’s compliance training program for all staff and new hires.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions for the Board of Directors.
- Collaborate with departments like IT and Security to maintain awareness and ensure compliance readiness.
Audit & Reporting
- Lead external audit processes and coordinate with internal departments.
- Monitor remediation efforts and report findings to executive leadership.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for senior management and the Board.
What We’re Looking For
Requirements
- 5 years of banking compliance experience (2 years in a leadership role)
- High School Diploma required; Juris Doctor (JD) preferred
- Deep knowledge of banking laws, BSA/AML, OFAC, and related regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
