Branch Management - Assistant Branch Manager

The Branch Management team of this rapidly expanding community bank is designed to give hands on training involving the operations, policies and procedures of a Banking Center. This is done to give the individual enough training and confidence to become Banking Center Manager while knowing whom to contact to solve problems that are unfamiliar. The overall objective of this program is designed to produce highly trained individuals to effectively run a banking center. Successful candidates will go through a customized training program to master the duties of a Banking Center Assistant Branch Manager.Job Responsibilities:Actively identify, coach, develop and motivate support employees to provide superior service to every customerCreate an Environment in which employees excelSet clear objectives and goals for the Branch and for each employee and monitor progress and track resultsGenerate sales in multiple areas in including mortgages, home equity loans, checking accounts, certificates of deposit and savings accountsEnsure that branch employees comply with policies, procedures and regulatory banking requirementsEstablish and maintain effective relationships with customers, staff and members of the communityORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards within the industry and areas of responsibilities.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding Leadership experience, a proven successful record of coaching and mentoring employees to improve resultsSuperb probing, analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilitiesAdaptability, flexibility and ability to work Branch hours; including SaturdaysCompliance with Dodd/Frank Truth in Lending ActNationwide Mortgage Licensing System and registry eligible and Safe Act of 2008 compliantCollege Degree preferred or equivalent five year retail banking experienceTwo years of management experience preferredFive years of retail banking experience strongly preferredMortgage Loan origination experience preferredWe are an equal opportunity employer.
