- Sunday–Wednesday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday–Saturday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (CURRENT OPENING)

Position Overview
The Cargo Escort Manager plays a critical leadership role within FRPS's High-Value Cargo Escort Operations. This position directly supervises Security Operations Center (SOC) personnel while also serving as a primary point of contact for clients. The manager is heavily involved in real-time operations, including escort coordination, scheduling, booking flights and rental vehicles, and ensuring seamless execution of nationwide escort missions.
This is a hands-on management role requiring strong operational judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee SOC staff supporting active cargo escort operations.
- Serve as a first-line point of contact for clients, providing professional, timely communication and operational updates.
- Coordinate and manage nationwide cargo escort operations involving high-value and sensitive freight.
- Oversee scheduling of escort teams, ensuring coverage while minimizing overtime and operational inefficiencies.
- Handle heavy booking responsibilities, including:
- Airline travel
- Rental vehicles
- Hotels (as needed)
- Monitor live GPS tracking and operational communications for active loads.
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and alignment between client instructions and field activity.
- Resolve operational issues in real time and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strict attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
On-Call Expectations
- Cargo Escort Managers are on call only during their scheduled workdays.
- On designated off days, managers are not on call and are fully off duty.
- On-call responsibilities rotate naturally between the two managers based on their assigned schedules, ensuring clear coverage while protecting work-life balance.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced operational environment.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Experience in logistics, security operations, dispatch, SOC operations, or transportation coordination strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working with GPS platforms, scheduling tools, email, and communication systems.
- Reliable, professional, and capable of handling sensitive and confidential information.
