Position Information
Position: Armed Security Agent – Cargo Escort Division
Region: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX base of operations, with assignments across all of Texas
Status: Full-Time (W2) – 2 positions available
Part-Time: Unlimited opportunities available based on client demand
We are seeking two professional full-time Armed Security Agents to support our expanding high-value cargo escort operations in the DFW area. We also welcome an unlimited number of part-time applicants to assist with escort operations as client demand dictates. Part-time agents will be first in line for future full-time opportunities, based on performance and availability.
While these positions are primarily focused on cargo escort assignments, if escort volume does not provide a full 40 hours in a given week, full-time agents will be scheduled for high-level uniformed security assignments to ensure consistent hours.
Position Summary
FRPS Armed Security Agents perform highly specialized security work with a focus on high-value cargo escort services. This is not an entry-level position—professionalism, discretion, and operational awareness are required at all times.
Agents are tasked with escorting 18-wheelers, box trucks, and passenger vehicles from pickup through delivery. Duties include verifying pickup and delivery paperwork for accuracy, completing required forms, and maintaining close communication with the FRPS Security Operations Center (SOC). Depending on the assignment, agents may work in uniform or plain clothes, operate independently, or as part of a two-person team.
Agents will spend much of their time on the road—following client vehicles closely, monitoring surroundings, and ensuring the safe and secure delivery of goods. Every escort is backed by our SOC with live GPS and video monitoring. FRPS provides company vehicles, rental cars, and return airfare for assignments, as well as company-issued credit cards for fuel purchases. Agents are supplied with all necessary equipment, including advanced, state-of-the-art security technology.
Scheduling & Notice of Assignments
Assignments are scheduled with very short notice, typically between 6–48 hours in advance, with the vast majority falling in the 12–24 hour window. This position is not a good fit for individuals who prefer to plan their schedules weeks ahead—flexibility and rapid response are essential.
