Bartender – First Reserve Whiskey Bar (Downtown Dubuque, IA)
Overview
First Reserve Whiskey Bar, located in the heart of downtown Dubuque, is seeking an energetic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages, including craft cocktails, whiskeys, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Engage with customers, take orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using our POS system
- Monitor and restock bar inventory and supplies as needed
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide outstanding customer experiences
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Knowledge of the Square POS system a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service
- Must be 21 years old
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time positions available with opportunity to also work some hours at Gary Dolphin's Iron Bar.
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Competitive hourly wage tips. Paid Training.
