INTERN OR CO-OP - Project Engineer

At First Quality, you’ll find a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning, professional development, and our mission to Make Things Better® Job Title: Project Engineer Co-Op or Intern Location: Anderson, SC (First Quality Tissue SE) Mentor: Project Engineer in Engineering Department Job Purpose: The Project Engineer’s responsibilities include the design and integration of new or modified equipment. This includes project scope development, estimation, cost management, equipment design and start-up. Job Responsibilities: Assist with the design and modifications to equipment. Develop project scope, estimates and schedules. Create and revise design documentation including CAD drawings and 3D models. Collaborate with fabricators and learn how to manage installation contractors. Support the installation and start-up of new and modified equipment. Skill Development Technology- AutoCAD/Inventor, Communication and Collaboration Experience / Skills: The ideal candidate will be working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering (preference for Mechanical), with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel and AutoCAD or 3D modeling tools.
