Role Description
Looking for an Area Advisor in the Parkland, Coral Springs or Coconut Creek area that will provide leadership, guidance, and support to schools and communities within the region. Key responsibilities include developing relationships with students, parents, and school personnel, overseeing program implementation, and organizing faith-based activities and events. The advisor will also be responsible for recruiting and training volunteers, maintaining accurate records, and reporting progress to leadership. This is a contract-based hybrid role, requiring presence in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with some flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in volunteer coordination, building mentorship programs, or working with youth organizations
- Proficiency in event planning, project management, and organizing community outreach initiatives
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse stakeholders, including educators, parents, and students
- Familiarity with faith-based communities and initiatives is highly beneficial
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management
- Capability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred
