What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Detailer position at First Priority Emergency Vehicles?
First Priority Group is a diversified manufacturer, dealer, upfitter and service provider of emergency and specialty vehicles seeking an Auto Detailer to support our customers at our Forestville, Maryland facility. We are looking for applicants with previous experience detailing vehicles and must have the ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Knowledge of basic tools and equipment is a must.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Wash, clean and dry the vehicles exterior – this might include vehicles of different sizes as well as vans and trucks
- Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices
- Pick up and/or deliver vehicles or parts to our customers mostly located in the Baltimore and Washington DC areas.
- Comfortable driving large vehicles during rush hour periods.
- Experience with driving larger vehicles such as ambulances, vans or trucks is a plus.
- This position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
