What are the responsibilities and job description for the VPK Assistant Teacher position at First Presbyterian Preschool?
As a Christian Preschool in Vero Beach, we are committed to providing a quality learning experience to enhance spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of every child all in the atmosphere of Christian love!
We are currently looking for a caring and energetic individual to assist our Lead VPK Teacher.
The Assistant Teacher helps to implement daily activities that promote Kindergarten Readiness as well as foster each child's social,emotinal, physical and cognitive development.
Experience in Early Childhood Education, being familiar with CLASS and FAST assessments, is a plus. Our VPK classrooms are staffed with 1 Lead Teacher and 1 Teacher Assistant. Room capacity is 16 children.
If you have experience and a passion for working with Preschool children as they are get ready for Kindergarten, we want you to be a part of our First Presbyterian Preschool Staff.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per year
