What are the responsibilities and job description for the Worship Team A/V Technician position at First Presbyterian Church Norfolk?
The FPC AV team is a vital part of our Sunday morning Worship team. We worship in person and online at 8am, 9am and 11am. The church regularly hosts additional events during the week (usually in the evening) that require AV support, such as preschool programs, concerts, banquets and more.
Responsibilities
The AV team is responsible for uploading media, graphics and lyrics prior to worship and special events, running sound, video and streaming equipment throughout services and events. The AV team will also participate in event rehearsals and preparations for special events.
Qualifications
Technical skills, typing and an ease in learning and working computer equipmnet is a must. Previous AV experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right person with an interest in media operations. We use a TriCaster Camera system, ProPresenter display software, audio board and stage lighting systems.
Requirements:
- Must have availability on Sunday mornings, as well as some evenings and during some holidays.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
Experience:
- Audio Visual: 1 year (Preferred)
