About The Role

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Validates the accuracy of loan data interfaced from the loan origination system to the core accounting system for indirect and consumer single-collateral loans.
- Reviews all documents to ensure required signatures are present, terms match what was entered into the system, and no pages are missing or incorrect. Independently resolves standard issues such as missing signatures, and incorrect VIN.
- Accurately identifies and assigns document types within straightforward consumer loan packets using specialized imaging software. Reviews documents such as applications, disclosures, security agreements, and collateral documentation to determine its correct classification. Uses tools like barcode generation or drag-and-drop functionality to ensure documents are properly categorized for imaging, archiving, and compliance with retention standards.
- Participates in required training to maintain and enhance job knowledge and compliance awareness. Completes annual in-person training and ongoing online courses to stay current on loan documentation procedures, system functionality, and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.
- Monitors assigned loan files and tasks to proactively identify basic issues or discrepancies in documentation, data entry, or system processing. Takes ownership of resolving routine problems and escalates more complex concerns to senior team members to ensure timely and accurate loan setup and servicing.
- Supports process improvement by identifying manual or repetitive tasks within daily workflows and suggesting potential enhancements. Follows guidance to use enterprise workflow tools and collaborates with other departments as needed to gather information and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Validates the accuracy of loan data interfaced from the loan origination system to the core accounting system for mortgage, consumer real estate-secured, and basic specialty lending loans.
- Independently investigates and resolves moderate to complex issues within loan servicing and documentation processes. Utilizes exception reports, system tools, and cross-functional collaboration to identify root causes and implement timely, compliant solutions.
- Reviews and analyzes exception and reconciliation reports for consumer and real estate-secured loans to identify discrepancies in loan data or transactions. Investigates root causes and coordinates with internal teams to resolve issues promptly, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and smooth loan servicing operations.
- Manages insurance-related tasks for consumer and real estate-secured loans, including processing force-placement insurance transactions, updating loan records, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. Coordinates with borrowers and insurance providers to resolve coverage gaps, verify documentation, and maintain accurate insurance tracking within the loan system
- Analyzes discrepancies, identifies root causes, and implements solutions.
- Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams, vendors, and customers; builds relationships.
- Effectively prioritizes and manages multiple responsibilities.
- Handles high volumes of data and transactions while maintaining accuracy.
- Exhibits a high level of accuracy and precision when reviewing or processing information.
- Demonstrated computer literacy, including the ability to navigate standard office software is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic understanding of banking concepts is preferred.
