Talent Acquisition Specialist needed in Reston, VA!

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days from home)
Duration: 12 months (contract-to-possible perm)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruiting team in Reston, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent across a variety of disciplines. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and business leaders to develop effective recruiting strategies while delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Your expertise in talent acquisition, industry trends, and stakeholder partnership will help ensure recruitment programs, processes, and practices remain effective, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Work Arrangement
This position follows a part-time telework schedule in accordance with the company’s global telework policy. Employees are required to work onsite a minimum of three days per week at the assigned office or project location. Weekly in-office schedules will be established collaboratively between the employee, supervisor, and business leadership.
This position is based in Reston, VA. Relocation assistance is not available.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, engage, and recruit qualified candidates for a diverse range of positions while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to build strong talent pipelines and support current and future hiring needs.
- Review resumes and evaluate candidates’ skills, qualifications, and experience against position requirements.
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews, coordinate hiring activities, and support managers throughout the selection process.
- Assist with candidate evaluation, assessment, ranking, offer preparation, and communication with both selected and non-selected applicants.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job requisitions, create compelling job descriptions, and advertise opportunities through appropriate recruitment channels.
- Coordinate with external recruiting partners and agencies as needed to support hiring objectives.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and campus recruiting initiatives.
- Build and maintain targeted talent communities and sourcing networks to support specialized recruiting efforts.
- Stay informed on industry trends, labor market conditions, legislative updates, and recruiting best practices to continuously improve talent acquisition programs and processes.
- Foster strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a positive and efficient recruitment experience.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 5–8 years of relevant professional experience; or 9–12 years of related recruiting or talent acquisition experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience recruiting within the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, consult, and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong initiative and sound judgment in candidate evaluation, hiring recommendations, and issue resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Quualifications
- Experience supporting recruiting efforts within the semiconductor and/or data center industries.
- Knowledge of talent market trends and sourcing strategies for highly specialized technical roles.
