Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role based in Reno, NV, for a Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient-centered care, including performing assessments, diagnosing health conditions, prescribing treatments, and educating patients. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate health records, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The role will also involve contributing to preventive care initiatives and supporting community-focused healthcare efforts.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Proficiency in EHR systems and maintaining comprehensive medical records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Knowledge of preventive care, women’s health, and specialty services such as infectious disease or dermatology
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification, with eligibility to practice in Nevada
- Ability to work effectively in a team-focused, multidisciplinary healthcare setting
