About this role: The Director of Sales role is a rare opportunity for ambitious and results-driven individuals who are passionate about transforming how businesses approach digital marketing. This position requires someone who can master our proprietary thought leadership, SEO, and lead generation strategies, then translate these complex concepts into compelling value propositions for potential clients. You'll be the architect of our revenue growth, consistently exceeding quarterly targets while developing the sales processes and client relationships that will define our future success. The Director of Sales leads from the front, leveraging their established industry network and 5 years of marketing/advertising experience to open doors, close deals, and identify strategic opportunities that drive the business forward.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Generate new sales, achieving or exceeding quarterly sales targets
- Drive revenue growth by closing sales and securing new business opportunities through effective networking, lead generation, and nurturing client relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's proprietary approach to thought leadership, SEO, and lead generation strategies, and effectively communicate these concepts to potential clients.
- Create and refine sales materials, processes, and departmental workflows aligned with the management team's vision for fostering long-term client relationships.
- Partner with Sales Assistant to prepare and manage agreements, contract terms, and amendments, ensuring seamless transitions and clear expectations during the sales handoff to long-term campaign teams.
- Identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities with existing clients through targeted sales conversations and successfully negotiate contract renewals.
- Collaborate with campaign teams to gain insights from long-term client relationships, continually improving sales strategies and contract structures for sustained success.
- Actively communicate sales insights, opportunities, and potential threats to the COO, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Attend in-person sales & networking events, such as trade shows or speeches, as needed.
- Manage and optimize Salesforce and HubSpot to streamline sales operations and maintain accurate client data.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within a marketing or advertising firm, with an established network of industry contacts.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Required fluency to read and speak English
- Required to attend & participate in virtual meetings weekly
- Required to type and read
- Required to utilize Google suite products, Taskworld, Zoom, and the internet for 8 hours per day
- Dedicated workspace is preferred though not required
- Required to structure environment conducive to productivity
- Required to have consistent access to a computer, webcam, and microphone during working hours

Salary Description
- $125,000 annually commission
