What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Land Surveyor position at First Order, LLC?
Entry level position, involves introduction to basic land surveying practices and procedures. The position assumes little or no prior knowledge or exposure to the land surveying field. This will involve basic training in the proper use and operation of survey equipment, proper use of company established descriptor codes, field procedures, and boundary recovery. The information collected will be used to create CAD drawings for the survey. Individuals will be introduced to deed plotting and basic principles of land surveying.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Availability for overnight travel and overtime
- Ability to lift heavy objects such as surveying equipment, man-hole lids and sewer grates. Ability to navigate various terrains and weather conditions.
- Prior surveying, military, or field services work experience is a plus
Experience with Carlson Equipment, GPS/Keynet, GIS, or CAD is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
