SUMMARY:    Coordinates activities of Branch CSRs engaged in receiving and paying out money, keeping records of transactions, promoting and cross selling bank products and services and providing efficient and quality customer service in the Branch by performing the following duties:

                                     

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following;  Other duties may be assigned.

 

Assigns duties, written or oral, and work schedules to CSRs to ensure efficient functioning of branch.

 

Trains and evaluates CSRs in customer service, banking procedures and products.

 

Performs CSR duties. 

 

Follows all Bank’s current established policies and procedures for cash handling and security.

 

Resolves customer complaints and requests.

 

Monitors CSRs' reports of daily transactions for accuracy and activity.

 

Consolidates and balances daily transactions including but not limited to vault and ATM transactions.

 

Ensures supply of money for the Branch's needs based on legal requirements and business demand.

 

Audits CSRs’ drawers and vaults. 

 

Researches and implements solutions to improve efficiency of the Branch CSR area and reports at monthly branch meetings.

 

Mentors and coaches CSRs.

 

Cross sells all bank products and services to existing, new and potential customers and makes product and service referrals to the appropriate bank staff.

 

Directs the sales efforts of the CSR personnel.

 

Opens and closes CSR area daily.

 

Maintains orderly work area.

 

Identify and train a back-up CSR for all essential branch functions.

 

Be a registered notary.

 

Completes customer credit reference requests. 

 

Prepares appropriate loan worksheets and/or loan summaries for consumer loans.

 

Examines, evaluates and authorizes approval within specified limits or works with the necessary Officer to obtain approval for consumer credit loans.

 

Ensures loan documents are complete and accurate according to policy.

 

Reviews donation and sponsorship requests from the community.

 

Oversees the branch’s community events budget in conjunction with the Marketing Director. 

 

Coordinates volunteer opportunities for FNB staff to be involved in the community, with the support of the Marketing Director.

 

Maintains supplies needed to effectively run the Branch office.

 

Oversees the upkeep and maintenance of the branch as needed to ensure the branch is in good repair.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.   Ability to write simple correspondence.   Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees in the organization.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.   Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

 

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS: Knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software would be helpful.
