Summary of the Job:
About This Role:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize our on-premise Finance environment, ensuring business configurations, batch scheduling, and performance optimizations are completed and incidents resolved for stakeholders in a timely manner
- Design and develop new functionalities and reports to meet business requirements
- Support the strategic implementation and transition to SaaS environments
- Provide technical expertise for financial analytics applications
- Lead/participate in generative AI initiatives within the Enterprise Platforms technology ecosystem
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operations
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Technical Requirements:
Core Expertise
- Advanced financial platforms development experience (such as Peoplesoft App Engine, PeopleCode, nVision, etc.)
- Financial platform security management (permissions lists, roles, etc.)
- Architecture knowledge for networking and firewall setup
Supporting Technical Skills
- Intermediate Java or similar programming knowledge
- Intermediate XML/XSLT knowledge
- Intermediate Linux and Windows administration for automation and security
- Basic Oracle Weblogic administration (or similar), SSL configuration, and patch management
- Application patching expertise (using PeopleSoft Update Manager or similar)
Additional Valuable Skills
- Experience with Workday
- Basic monitoring experience with tools like Dynatrace
- Basic cloud, virtualization, and networking concepts
- Basic Integration Broker (or similar) configuration
- Experience with AWS is desirable
Future-Focused Capabilities
- Finance platform implementation experience (highly desired)
- Experience with SaaS financial applications and cloud migrations
- Generative AI knowledge and practical application experience
- Financial analytics platform expertise
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- 5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years focused on financial applications
- Demonstrated experience in financial systems transitions or upgrades
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $77,807.00-$128,381.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment:
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are.
