Description
Position Summary:Universal Banker 3 is responsible for supervising the branch customer activities, ensuring branch balances, adequate cash management, and strengthen customer relationships by engaging in sales conversations. Understands and is proficient in performing all Universal Banker I and II duties.Duties and Responsibilities:Provides excellent customer service by processing customer transactions; answers customer inquiries in person, via telephone, or email.Operates lobby teller window; maintains acceptable outages; maintains appropriate cash limits; follows policies and procedures to ensure compliance with branch audits.Cross promotes bank products and services by using insights gained about the customer's needs; follows up on referral opportunities.Assists in performing back office duties which included completing branch reports, balancing the ATMs, processing night/mail deposits, answering phone calls, filing, and maintains a clean work station.Maintains IRA files; filing annual reports and tax information; preparing corrected 1099-INT forms and IRA forms for the IRS.Monitors rate changes, mails proper notices to customers regarding various accounts (CD renewal and maturity checks, etc.) to customers in a timely manner.Prepare, monitor and address report of dormant accounts and safety deposit boxes.Educates customers on product benefits and solutions; makes recommendations based on their identified needs.Opens and closes the branch in a secure manner according to bank procedures.Handles staff scheduling in coordination with management team.Opens and closes deposit accounts and services with accuracy and in accordance with bank policies and applicable regulations.Resolves any customer and/or staff issues. As needed, escalates significant issues to branch leadership for input and resolution. Processes payoffs and payments for all loan products.Performs all required security procedures for opening customer accounts.Represents the bank in a professional manner.Attends community activities in order to increase brand awareness.Assists the drive thru with various duties and acts as a backup for Universal Banker II as needed.Monitors and maintains vault by ordering cash, distributing cash to tellers, and reconciling the vault; ensures adequate cash is available for customer transactions; advises Branch Manager as to ordering frequency and overall branch cash needs.Prepares various daily and monthly branch reports.20. Monitors and reviews all completed retail deposit forms.21. May float to other bank branches as needed.22. Complies with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including, but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and related anti-money laundering statutes, and federal consumer protection legislation and regulations.23.
