We’re First Media South, and we’re growing. We’re hiring an Account Executive to bring on new
clients and manage existing relationships across our broadcast, digital, and print platforms.

The Role
This is a consultative sales role. You won’t be pushing a single product — you’ll be building
customized advertising strategies for local businesses and then selling them on the investment.
Day-to-day you’ll:
• Prospect for new clients through face-to-face outreach and community networking
• Conduct Customer Needs Analyses to understand each client’s goals and challenges
• Develop tailored multi-platform advertising solutions (TV/radio, digital, print)
• Present proposals to business owners and decision-makers, often in group settings
• Manage and grow an existing book of accounts
• Hit monthly and quarterly revenue goals
What We’re Looking For
• Proven ability to find decision-makers, build trust, and close business
• Strong local network or connections in the Albany-Tifton market (a big plus)
• Experience in negotiation and new business development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Media sales experience helpful but not required — we will train the right person
Requirements
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (client visits required)
