What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Credit Analyst position at First Lockhart Bank Careers?
The Senior Credit Analyst is an integral part of our Lending team and will work closely with our Loan Officers and Loan Administration. This role will provide support to Lenders for credit analysis, document preparation and other various credit duties.
- Collects, monitors, and analyzes financial data to determine credit worthiness of prospective and/or current customer(s).
- Prepares financial spreads and presentations on clients and present information to loan officers.
- Reviews risk classification definitions compared to actual risk ratings on loans, to ensure the risk rating on loan(s) is consistent with the Bank’s risk rating policy and Loan Policy.
- Reviews credit packages for policy compliance, structural soundness, and credit weakness.
- Prepares annual reviews on credits as assigned, to ensure compliance with loan policy.
- Assist with all related loan documentation.
- Act as liaison between borrower, loan officer and loan administration department.
- Works with loan officers and loan operations staff to assist in clearing loan exceptions
- Classifies, sorts and files correspondence, articles, records and other documents.
- Assist with Loan Committee Reports and Board Reports.
- Assist in training and development for new team members.
- Performs specific tasks as assigned by management. Assist in preparation of loan presentations and other documentation for loan officers and credit department.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field.
- 7 years’ of direct community banking experience in commercial credit.
- Experience in financial statement and tax return analysis.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to solve problems, work independently, and good organization and time management skills.
