Job Description
The Branch Manager plays a vital role in our bank’s commitment to providing exceptional customer service, fostering a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and relationship-based banking. The Branch Manager leads and develops the branch team to deliver consultative banking solutions that deepen client relationships and support the bank’s deposit growth strategy. They will proactively sell commercial and consumer depository products and services, participate in banking promotions, events, community outreach and planning of additional marketing projects. They are trusted with creating a positive experience in our lobby – and will be responsible for training and development of their direct reports, keeping them informed of pertinent changes in operational policies and procedures. This position is supported by the Regional Branch Director who will provide strategic direction based on current company goals and objectives. They will continue to develop and improve their skills through regular feedback discussions with their manager. This position reports to the Regional Branch Director.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties:
- Ensure branch operates efficiently and effectively with appropriate staffing and coverage
- Lead, coach, and develop branch staff in delivering exceptional service at all time
- Foster a positive, high-morale branch culture by modeling and upholding First Lonestar Bank’s core value
- Conduct bi-weekly one-on-one coaching with team to review performance, goals, and development need
- Ensure staff comprehend and are knowledgeable about bank products, services, policies, and procedure
- Promote critical thinking by encouraging staff to ask questions, provide input, identify gaps or risks, and maintain solution focused attitude
- Routinely process and oversee daily branch operations including teller transactions, opening and closing accounts, and performing account maintenanc
- Comply with FLB’s established procedures and policies, complete all required trainin
- Actively support new customer acquisition and deposit growth through outbound calling, referrals and relationship-building activitie
- Attend, participate, and contribute to recurring meetings, sharing updates, challenges, and best practice
- Participate in networking, community outreach, and business development opportunitie
- Partner with commercial lenders, treasury officers, and other departments to identify opportunities for the ban
- Promote a consultative approach to client conversations that strengthens long-term relationship
- Resolve escalated client concerns professionally and efficiently
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned, including support to adjacent departments as needed

Desired Skills/Qualifications:
- Five years banking experience preferred; worked with banking software and systems; cash handling
- Prior managerial, leadership and customer service experience
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- High School Diploma
