Director of Software Quality Assurance

Position Summary:

We are seeking a visionary Director of Software Quality Assurance to lead our global QA organization. You will be responsible for defining the long-term quality roadmap, overseeing a multi-tiered team of QA managers and engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-reliability software. 

The ideal candidate is an expert in Tricentis Tosca, leveraging its model-based automation to reduce maintenance overhead and accelerate release velocity. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and business objectives, ensuring that quality metrics align with our digital transformation goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a comprehensive QA strategy that incorporates manual, automated, performance, and security testing.
• Tricentis Ecosystem Management: Oversee the implementation and optimization of Tricentis Tosca and qTest across all product lines. Ensure the team is maximizing the ROI of scriptless automation and distributed execution.
• Continuous Testing & DevOps: Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions) to achieve true continuous testing.
• Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team. Foster a culture of "Quality Engineering" where testers act as automation architects.
• Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate architectural and release risks. For highly regulated industries, ensure all QA processes meet compliance and audit standards.
• Metrics & Reporting: Establish and report on Executive KPIs such as Escaped Defect Rate, Automation Coverage, and Test Execution Velocity.
• Data Integrity & Security: Establish rigorous QA protocols for systems handling PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and HIPAA Compliance, ensuring preparedness for eventual SOC2 and ISO 27001 certification.
• Integration Testing Specialist: Oversee the end-to-end testing of complex integrations between legal-specific platforms (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments, Elite 3E, Aderant) and standard enterprise tools (Salesforce).
• Tricentis Strategy for Legal Tech: Direct the implementation of Tricentis Tosca for "headless" API testing and UI automation of legacy legal software that often lacks standard object identification.
• Audit-Ready QA: Maintain comprehensive, automated audit trails for all testing activities to satisfy client-driven security audits and outside counsel guidelines (OCGs).

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, ora related field.
• 10 years in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director or Senior Manager).
• Deep understanding of Netsuite, Salesforce, or complex Web/API testing environments where Tricentis excels. Proficiency in testing cloud-native applications (AWS) and thick-client legal applications is also required.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, PII and CCPA regulations as they relate to software functionality and data residency.
• Tricentis Certifications (Required):
  • Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2 (AS1 & AS2): Mastery of model-based test design and steering.
  • Test Design Specialist (TDS1/TDS2): Advanced knowledge of test data management and case design.

• Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
