Financial Solutions Specialist

Role Overview

The Financial Services Representative I at First Interstate BancSystem is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored solutions. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of our bank's products and services.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and offering suitable solutions.
• Perform a variety of financial transactions, including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and counting currency and coin accurately.
• Open and manage various products, such as consumer and business checking and savings accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, and consumer credit cards.
• Engage in financial conversations with clients and prospects to determine needs and provide appropriate solutions, recognizing referral opportunities to other lines of business.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
• 1-3 years of banking or related experience is necessary.

• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Effective use of tact and diplomacy when interacting with clients and colleagues.

• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write clear and concise correspondence.
