Position Summary
First In Families of North Carolina is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Associate to join our statewide team.
This is a part-time, 30-hour-per-week position paying $22.00 per hour. The position is remote/work-from-home, with preference given to candidates located in or near North Carolina's Triangle region to support occasional in-person meetings, trainings, and events.
The Quality Associate supports program quality and operational excellence through the review and approval of purchase requests, data management, reporting, and user support within FIFNC's customized Salesforce database. This position works closely with the Quality & Operations Director, Regional Managers, and Resource Navigators to ensure accurate data and supporting documentation, quality service delivery, and effective use of organizational systems.
The Quality Associate also coordinates and conducts annual Site Visits for FIFNC's twelve chapters, analyzes program data, and prepares reports to support continuous quality improvement. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build experience in nonprofit operations, quality assurance, program monitoring, and Salesforce administration.
The Quality Associate will learn many aspects of the Quality & Operations Director’s role as they relate to Salesforce, and will become a backup to that role.
Essential Responsibilities
Quality Review & Compliance
- Review purchase requests and related documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ensure required supporting documentation is submitted.
- Follow up with chapter staff regarding corrections or additional information.
- Maintain accurate records within the Disposition Review Log.
Salesforce & Data Management
- Learn and effectively navigate FIFNC's customized Salesforce database.
- Create reports and analyze data for accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to Assistance Requests and provide basic Salesforce user support.
Program Quality Monitoring
- Schedule and conduct annual Site Visits for all twelve FIFNC chapters (typically via video conference).
- Review program data and documentation before Site Visits.
- Prepare Site Visit reports that identify strengths, observations, and recommendations.
Team Collaboration
- Participate in weekly Quality Team meetings and semi-monthly All Chapter calls.
- Attend trainings, professional development opportunities, and the annual FIFNC Summit in Durham each September.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers, Resource Navigators, and other staff across the organization.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review documentation accurately.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and File Explorer.
- Ability to learn and utilize a customized database system.
Preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system.
- Experience in quality assurance, compliance, data management, nonprofit operations, or program monitoring.
- Knowledge of disability services, behavioral health, family support, or community-based services.
