Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher

First Impressions Early Learning Center is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and nurturing care. Licensed by the state, we serve children from infancy through early elementary years, fostering social, emotional, and academic growth in a warm, supportive environment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons and creating a safe, inclusive classroom environment. Your energy and dedication will help inspire young learners and contribute to their development across various domains including literacy, math, social skills, and emotional well-being.

• Assist in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for early childhood education.
• Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and fostering respectful interactions among children.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math skills, and social development.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
• Collaborate with lead teachers to observe and document each child's progress and needs.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Support children with special needs or those with disabilities by adapting activities as needed.

• Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early learning standards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to assist in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to diverse learners.
• Experience with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and engagement.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
