What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wildcats Summer Fun Camp Staff position at First Immanuel Lutheran School?
We’re looking for energetic, fun, and caring individuals to join our team as Lead Summer Camp Staff supporting our Summer Care program for children ages 3–5. This is a hands-on, activity-focused role perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, being creative, and making a positive impact on young kids.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and participate in daily camp activities including water play, bike days, outdoor games, arts and crafts, and field trips
- Create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for young campers
- Supervise and interact with children throughout the day
- Work closely with other staff to keep activities organized and running smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 18 and a high school graduate (or GED)
- Positive attitude, high energy, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Reliable and team-oriented
- Childcare experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll train the right person
Schedule:
- Full-time during the summer
- Opportunity to continue part-time during the school year
