About the Role
First Hill Trust is seeking a motivated, full-cycle Inside Sales Representative to launch our outbound sales function. This role will focus on identifying and converting new business opportunities through cold outreach and introducing plan sponsors to our bundled retirement plan services—including investment advisory, TPA, and recordkeeping.
We’re looking for someone eager to grow professionally, make an impact, and earn based on results. This is a foundational hire on a growing team with uncapped upside.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate leads and build a strong pipeline.
- Qualify prospects and lead discovery conversations with HR, finance, and executive decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal advisors and operations to scope and propose plan solutions.
- Track pipeline and maintain CRM discipline for accurate forecasting.
- Meet and exceed monthly revenue and activity goals.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of B2B or financial services sales experience desired. Retirement industry experience not required but is a plus.
- Comfortable cold-calling and initiating conversations with decision-makers.
- High energy, coachable, and persistent with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRMs and standard productivity tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office).
- Desire to grow into a senior sales or account management role.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $50,000–$65,000
Commission: Uncapped, tiered on new recurring revenue
· 10% on the first $200,000 in new revenue annually
· 12% on the next $200,000 (from $200,001–$400,000)
· 15% on all new revenue above $400,000 annually
Performance Bonuses:
Quarterly quota bonus: $2,500 for achieving 100% of quota; $5,000 for exceeding by 25% or more
First-win bonus: $1,500 for first client closed in year one
Ramp Support: Reduced quota expectations during the first 3 months
OTE: $110,000–$130,000 in year one, with significantly higher upside for top performers
