First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a collaborative, customer-focused, goals-oriented Relief Banking Consultant to join our Oahu Team.
This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel to any of our various Hawaii branches, including the neighbor islands, based on our changing business needs. We reimburse mileage at the IRS standard mileage rate which is currently $0.76 cents per mile.
Compensation
The pay range is $23.00- $27.00/hr, commensurate with experience; plus sales incentives
This position offers an additional $2.50/hr Relief Premium, recognizing the flexibility and commitment required to support multiple branches.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Saturday on a rotation basis 8:30AM - 1:30PM (hours may vary)

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate's degree in a business-related field, equivalent work experience or
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years' work experience in a sales and service environment required
- 2 years of experience in cash handling required
- 2 years of experience in customer service, referrals and sales required
- State of Hawai'i Driver's License required
- Retail/branch banking experience in operations and sales or similar experience within the financial services industry preferred
- Extensive knowledge of banking/financial products and services, and ability to comprehend and grasp finance and credit concepts preferred
- Must project a welcoming presence when interacting with customers
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be digitally savvy, confident and well-versed on the use of digital banking technology to fulfill routine day-to-day needs
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-through
- Agile and resourceful as it relates to working in a fast-paced changing environment
- Upbeat and positive, growth mindset, and quick learner
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a larger team
- Ability to handle confidential matters judiciously
- Must be willing to travel to various Hawaii branches. Must be available for the following work schedule:
