Compensation
The pay range for the role is $127,000 - $165,000/yr; commensurate with experience.
The level of the position will be determined by the hiring manager based on the candidate's qualifications.

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)
Responsibilities
In this role, the Facilities & Capital Projects Manager will lead the strategic and operational management of First Hawaiian Center (FHC), First Hawaiian Bank (FHB) branch properties and Kamehameha Industrial Center (KIC), ensuring high-performing facility operations, maintenance and capital project delivery across the Hawaii, Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). This role oversees the facility teams, building systems, and construction initiatives to support safe, efficient, and sustainable operations across a 53-property portfolio and approximately 1.3 million square feet.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, construction management, architecture or related field required
- Master's degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent preferred
- Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience as a professional in the field of architecture or engineering including direct oversight of major building systems and multi-site property operations required; and
- Ten (10) years of experience overseeing teams, contractors, or complex operational programs required
- Demonstrated expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance programs, vendor selection, and contract management (SOWs, SLAs, performance metrics)
- Working knowledge of relevant codes and regulations (e.g. fire/life safety, accessibility, environmental/energy, building codes) and corporate compliance practices
- Experience supporting disaster recovery/business continuity planning for facilities operations
- Able to conduct and oversee facility inspections, discrepancy reporting, and timely remediation
- Strong financial acumen: operational and capital budgeting, forecasting and cost control
- Strong project planning, coordination, and documentation skills to manage large construction and improvement projects
- Experience presenting to and obtaining approvals from senior management/steering committees; strong business case development and executive communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration (business units, tenants, consultants, contractors)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including clear employee/tenant outage and construction communications
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and exercise discretion under time and operational constraints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to exercise discretion regarding confidential matters
