First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our RPS Business Transformation Department.
Compensation
The pay range for the role is $74,000 - $130,000/yr; commensurate with experience
The level of the position will be determined by the hiring manager based on the candidate's qualifications.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)
Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of existing, new or enhanced computerized systems and business processes. Review business and application processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Creates test plans and conducts testing for application software changes and/or new releases.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Business Analyst II: Three (3) years of professional level experience in applications support or related banking experience required.
- Business Analyst III: Five (5) years of of professional-level experience in applications support or related banking experience required.
- Business Analyst certification from a well-respected organization (e.g. IIBA).
- Coursework or work experience in finance preferred.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g. retail, mortgage/loans/deposits and wholesale banking).
- Knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC) required.
- Knowledge of mainframe or client server applications.
- Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills and manage conflict.
- Skill in understanding and focusing on the business unit needs, establishing credibility and building relationships with business units.
- Ability to plan, organize and budget.
- Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through.
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
- Good time management skills.
- Proficient in using PC’s, Microsoft Word, and Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries and Python scripts.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g. retail, mortgage/loans/deposits and wholesale banking) preferred.
Salary : $74,000 - $130,000
