Job Overview
This position is responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service through the efficient handling of all over-the-counter transactions, demonstrating a functional knowledge of the bank’s products and services, and assisting management in daily operational procedures.
Responsibilities
Ø Serves customers in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
Ø Asks questions and actively listens to determine how best to refer and cross-sell.
Ø Answers questions about bank services and directs customers to the appropriate person if more detailed information is needed.
Ø Ensures all customer transactions are handled with exceptional service by properly cashing checks, accepting and posting deposits, transferring funds, accepting loan, mortgage, or other payments, issuing receipts, issuing cash advances, and other negotiable instruments and transactions in accordance with bank policy.
Ø Balances assigned cash drawer maintaining a proficient balancing record following bank guidelines.
Ø Balances ATM, processes night deposit bags deposits by mail, and prepares change orders.
Ø Maintains work area (orderly, well supplied, etc.).
Ø Responsible for procedures as they relate to money orders, official checks, cash advances, customer information changes, online banking access, and other platform clerical tasks.
Ø Participates from time to time with community organizations and in community projects.
Ø Adheres to the compliance, security and internal guidelines and requirements for teller performance.
Ø Is aware of segregation of duties and adheres to bank established policies.
Ø Responsible for adherence to bank’s operational compliance and security policies and applicable state and federal laws.
Ø Is committed to on-going professional development and actively participates and advocates the bank's training and development programs and commitment to learning.
Ø Provides customer access to safe deposit boxes.
Ø Assist in branch opening and closing procedures.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.72 per hour
