Customer Service Representative (Entry Level – Insurance)

First Gabrielson Agency is a growing, independent insurance agency, and we’re looking for a motivated Entry-Level Customer Service Representative to join our team in Belmond, Iowa.
This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career or transitioning into insurance who enjoys helping people, learning new skills, and working in a supportive, team-oriented environment. No prior insurance experience required — we will train the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, professional service to clients in person and by phone
- Assist clients with basic policy questions and service needs
- Support agents with day-to-day account servicing
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
- Help with billing questions and account updates
- Accurately document and maintain customer records
What We’re Looking For
- Customer service experience preferred (retail, banking, hospitality, or office experience welcome)
- High school diploma or associate degree (or equivalent experience)
- Willingness to obtain Personal Lines and Property & Casualty insurance licenses (training provided)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and desire to learn
- Bilingual skills a plus
