What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Twos Teacher - Part Time position at First Friends Child Care Center?
First Friends is seeking a part time Assistant Twos Caregiver to join our team! You would work with a co-teacher. Monday - Friday 11:45 am - 6:00 pm. Full benefits with this position!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner
- Implement creative activities to assist with child development
- Create a positive and nurturing environment for children
- Perform a variety of tasks, such as diaper changing / potty training, dressing, prepping food, cleaning and overseeing play
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with childcare or other related fields preferred
- Must be able to get up and down from the floor multiple times a day
- Must be able to lift approximately 30 lbs. or more daily
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children and their parents
- Positive and patient demeanor
