The Role
InVia Fertility Specialists is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer to join our clinical team part-time, Monday through Friday, with a consistent daily schedule (and some weekends). This role plays a critical part in the patient experience by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate care throughout the fertility process. You will primary work at our Northbrook location alongside a collaborative team of fertility specialists. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and looking for steady part-time hours with a predictable weekly schedule.
What You'll Do
You'll be an integral part of day-to-day patient care, supporting our clinical team across all phases of the fertility process:
- Perform pregnancy, pelvic, baseline, and follicular ultrasounds
- Accurately record and maintain ultrasound data and related documentation
- Explain procedures such as cyst aspirations and hysterosonograms and obtain informed consent
- Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with OSHA standards
- Prepare rooms and equipment for all sonographic procedures
- Perform phlebotomy and assist with specimen collection (training provided for those new to this skill)
- Support the clinical team with additional tasks as required
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- Women's health or fertility experience strongly preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred; training provided
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification preferred
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset
Schedule
This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM (approximately 20 hours per week) in Northbrook, and some weekends at our Hoffman Estates clinic.
