Patient Services Representative

The Patient Services Representative plays a vital role in creating a positive experience for our patients. This position serves as the first point of contact—greeting patients, coordinating appointments, managing insurance information, and supporting both administrative and clinical teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and register patients in a professional, courteous manner.
• Verify and update demographic and insurance information for patients and partners.
• Process check-ins, collect co-pays/balances, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Answer and triage phone calls in a timely, professional manner.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support patient care and satisfaction.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and providers via EMR and secure email systems.
• Maintain accurate physician schedules, confirm appointments, and address cancellations/no-shows.
• Support daily clinical preparation (printing encounters, assembling paperwork, etc.).
• Prepare patient letters and medical record requests.
• Respond to patient inquiries submitted through the RMA LI IVF website.
• Provide coverage for PSR/FSR positions during absences or vacations (some travel required).
• Maintain reception area and monitor patient flow to ensure efficiency.
• Comply with all HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Medical front desk or healthcare administrative experience preferred.
• Strong professionalism and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and computer systems.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) required.
• Excellent telephone communication and multitasking skills.

Compensation: $21- $22.50 per hour

Salary : $21 - $23
